Background & Experience

Jim has been involved during his entire career in the printed office products supply industry. His formative years were spent as an owner of a paper and business forms distributor in northern New Jersey. In 1982, Jim merged his distributorship with his principal manufacturer of product and relocated to Indianapolis to assume the role of president of the combined operations. Jim negotiated the sale of that company in 1986 to a Canadian firm.

Jim has been an intermediary since 1987, specializing in negotiated transactions within the commercial printing, labels, business forms, and office systems industries. Prior to relocating to Hilton Head and founding CDA in 1994, Jim was a member of the largest intermediary firm in the United States, where he won numerous awards for his deal-making efforts.

Since 1987, Jim has completed transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $500M.
